Pakistan Steel's decision to give 4 thousand acres of land to Chinese investors

  Karachi:  The government has decided to give four thousand acres of land of Pakistan Steel  to Chinese investors,  a Chinese Special Export Economic Zone will be established on the land of the steel mill.

This was said by Minister of Industry and Commerce of Sindh Jam Ikramullah Dharijo while having a special discussion with Council of Economic and Energy Journalists (SAGE) members. He said that if the land of Pakistan Steel is sold in the future, the Sindh government should get its share because the land of the steel mill is the property of the Sindh government and the Sindh government had given this land only for the establishment of the steel mill.

He said that the Sindh government has decided to set up and run the steel mill in a public-private partnership, but the federal government has taken responsibility for all the liabilities of the steel mill. Will do.
